ACHIEVEMENTS UNLOCKED! New Princeton Review rankings ranking UW-Stout’s Game Design and Development Art program as #7 nationally among public universities and colleges, out of a group of 150, #26 overall in the United States, and # 1 in Wisconsin. The Master of Fine Arts Game Design program was also ranked No. 6 among public universities and colleges and No. 21 overall, moving up three spots from last year’s ranking.
The School of Art and Design’s undergraduate BFA contains six distinct programs, while the MFA offers six focus areas – with game design and development being key programs in both. UW-Stout’s Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science have already ranked highly for the past decade.
Students in game design and development programs were expected to showcase more than 60 different projects at UW-Stout’s Stout Game Expo on May 2. mobile games, computer games, 3D environments, virtual reality games and more.
