Elys Game Technology has received approval from Washington DC authorities to expand its Grand Central Restaurant and Sportsbook, increasing the betting services available to customers.
Granted by the DC Office of Lottery and Gaming, Division of Regulation and Oversight, the approval means Grand Central can increase its number of betting ticket terminals and self-service betting kiosks.

“Elys’ growth in the small business sector is part of our three-pronged approach to generating revenue and growing in the North American gaming market, which includes progress at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City and the continued development of the company’s US digital and mobile channel.
Elys also recently announced its financial performance, covering December 2021 and the year 2021 respectively.
Grand Central took bets of approximately $735,000 in December, generating net gaming revenue (NGR) of $92,000. For the full year, his handle totaled just over $1.4 million, which translated to just over $200,000 NGR.
