Yesterday, career VFX artists Mohsen Mousavi, Hugh Behroozy and longtime game designer Troy Dunniway announced the creation of their new game development studio Blinkmoon.
The company said it aimed to usher in “a new era of ‘best in class’ entertainment”.
Behroozy will lead the company as CEO and during his career he has worked on visual effects for films such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Justice League and Tomb Raider.
While Dunniway will serve as the general manager of Blinkmoon. Throughout his 25-year career, he has held various roles such as Project Manager, Creative Director having worked on titles such as Rainbow Six, Ratchet & Clank and Dying: Reborn.
Mousavi will take over as creative director and chief operating officer of the studio.
The veteran visual effects artist has worked on a number of projects including Game of Thrones, Marvel’s Spiderman and Independence Day 2 over the years.
“I am proud to bring together this team of exceptional creators to bridge the gap between blockbusters, cinematic experiences and interactive games,” said Behroozy.
