Scientific Games has announced the official launch of its latest instant lottery gaming technology. Taking place at the company’s UK production site in Leeds, it serves the UK National Lottery, as well as 50 other lotteries across Europe and abroad.
The company has produced instant games since its inception in 1994, helping it grow into a $ 4.7 billion consumer product category over the years, funding its UK beneficiary program.
This new technology increases Scientific Games’ global production capacity by more than 20%, with an estimated increase of 175 employees at the Leeds plant, which is one of five production centers serving the industry. lottery, accounting for 70% of its global retail sales.
In addition to this, Scientific Games recently acquired UK-based Sideplay Entertainment to expand its digital lottery instant play studios globally.
